The client is seeking to utilise a redundant part of a holiday park for a mixed residential and workspace scheme. The site is currently occupied by old chalets that are long past their capability for use and provide nothing for tourism. The land provides one of very few opportunities in the area for development beyond any identified flood risk area. Submissions have been made to the Local Development Framework and the Council have assessed the site under their Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA) |
