I have undertaken specialist research, written and lectured on a range of topics over decades for both public and private sector organisations.

At the present time I am undertaking research into:

• The Economic Value of Holiday Home Parks in Britain

• The Role of Rural Workspace in Rural Regeneration

I have made submissions on a variety of Government consultation documents  including PPS4 (2009); the Matthew Taylor Report (2008); PPS7 (2004) and sought the extension of existing planning permissions (revitalisation of Section 73) by writing to the Minister in December 2008.

I have also chaired professional meetings during 2011 on behalf of the RICS concerning the Localism Bill (now Act) and the NPPF.
